Nils is slowly getting better at soccer, though the bugs he sees at practice continue to be the highlights of the day. One thing I didn't know while registering for this league is that they have 1st and 2nd graders playing together. So Nils is as much as 2 years younger than some of the kids on his team. All in all I'm not very impressed with this league. But we'll see if Nils still likes sports next year before I start hunting for a better league.

His kicking style is so nonchalant, as if he was kicking a loose stone out of the way. I hope he never loses interest in bugs!
