Lucky Lady

In primary on Sunday the kids took turns finding turkey feathers around the room, sharing something they are grateful for, and putting their feathers on the turkey. When it was Walter's turn the music leader asked him what he was grateful for, he put on his most charming smile and announced that he was grateful for "My mommy." All of the teachers said "aww!" The thing that makes this funniest to me is that I was most certainly *not* the intended audience of that answer. Walter is savvy enough to have picked the response most likely to endear him to all the ladies in the room. I predict that one day Walter will be that guy who knows exactly what to say to melt a girl's heart. Heck, he already is that guy.
